Tele2 top rated in Child Protection – a continuously ongoing work

We are very proud to announce that Tele2 received the highest rating for Child Protection in a survey from the Global Child Forum conducted by the Boston Consulting Group. 

The study assessed how more than 1,000 publicly listed companies in eight industry sectors addressed and reported on children’s rights. The industry sectors were chosen based on their exposure to children’s rights issues. Tele2 was one out of only 14 companies that scored 9/9 in this evaluation!

An annual multi-stakeholder meeting, organized by the Global Child Forum, was held at the Swedish Royal Castle on Friday. Not only was Mats Granryd one of the key note speakers but he also had the honour of representing the whole ICT sector in this forum. Like him, we are very happy that Tele2 received such recognition. “It is a sign that we are thinking in the right way and it will motivate us to further strengthen our efforts towards protecting the most vulnerable ones in society, our children”, Mats Granryd comments. 

Mats Granryd was one of the key note speakers at the Royal Castle.
