Tele2 completes the purchase of E.ON Bredband

Stockholm - Tele2 AB, ("Tele2"), (Stockholm Stock Exchange: TEL2 A and TEL2 B), Europe's leading alternative telecom operator, today announced that it has purchased the remaining 24.9 percent in Tele2 Syd AB, former E.ON Bredband Sverige AB. Tele2 will pay approximately MSEK 135.
Tele2 will after the completion of the transaction own 100 percent of Tele2 Syd, former E.ON Bredband. In August 2006, Tele2 acquired 75.1 percent of E.ON bredband with an option to buy the remaining parts of the company.
 
The transaction is expected to be closed by 1 June, 2007.
