Tele2 Norway signs agreement with TeliaSonera-owned NetCom on access to their mobile network

Stockholm - Tele2 AB, ("Tele2"), (Stockholm Stock Exchange: TEL2 A and TEL2 B), Europe's leading alternative telecom operator, today announced that Tele2 Norway has signed a four year MVNO (Mobile Virtual Network Operator) agreement about access to NetCom's mobile network. The agreement includes an option for national roaming which enables Tele2 to build own infrastructure in the future.

Today Tele2 has a MVNO agreement with Telenor which ends mars 31 2008. The new agreement with NetCom enables Tele2 to strengthen its mobile telephony offering in Norway. Today Tele2 is the third biggest telecom operator in Norway and has more than 400 000 mobile customers.

Niclas Palmstierna, Market Area Director Nordic, comments: "We are very pleased with the agreement which does not only give us better pricing power and increased choice, but also improved margins on an already profitable product area. The Agreement ensures our goal to continue to grow and secure our price leader ship on the Norwegian market."
