Changes in the number of shares and votes in Tele2

Stockholm - Tele2 AB, (Tele2), (NASDAQ OMX Stockholm: TEL2 A and TEL2 B) today announced that Tele2's total number of Class B shares has increased to 421,119,189 from 419,996,669. The total number of Class A shares has decreased, to 20,990,150 from 20,991,670. The changes refer to a reclassification of 1,520 Class A shares into Class B shares in August and a new issue of 1,151,000 Class B shares in August after the exercise of options to subscribe for shares under incentive programs 2006 and 2007. Tele2 also holds in own custody 1,585,000 Class B shares 3,269,000 Class C shares.

 

Each Class A share has ten voting rights and each Class B and Class C share carries one voting right. The reclassification of Class A shares into Class B shares and the issue of new Class B shares has therefore increased the total number of voting rights to 631,020,689 (of which 209,901,500 related to Class A shares and 421,119,189 related to Class B shares) from earlier 629,883,369 (of which 209,916,700 related to Class A shares and 419,966,669 Class B shares) when excluding the 1,585,000 Class B shares and 3,269,000 Class C shares held by Tele2.
