Work with us

Tele2 is a great place to work at. This is obvious when you look at our very low figures for employee turnover and sick leave, as well as our high figures for number of job applicants. For us, it’s like getting good grades in school.

Customer focus

A common thread ties all Tele2 operations together, namely, customer focus. Regardless of where you work in the organization, you’ll see that having the right attitude and sharing our values: flexibility, openness and cost consciousness, are critical success factors when working for Tele2.

All employees practice in the customer service organization, by listening to conversations with customers at least once a year. Managers do the same twice a year, also by talking to the customers directly. By selling, taking orders, processing invoices, claims and complaints, our employees maintain contact with customers even though the organization is growing.

Leadership

Tele2 is a flexible organisation that quickly adapts to changed market conditions; the company does not spend excessive time on long-term planning for an unforeseeable future. That is why we put heavy demands on company leadership. Tele2 is not hierarchical. To keep managers close to customers and employees, responsibility is delegated to the greatest extent possible. Coaching and sharing are two key roles for our managers.

People development

Actual work is the foundation for employee development. Developing skills while working alone and with others is crucial when it comes to developing skills and changing behaviour.

Thanks to our presence in many countries, Tele2 gives employees opportunities to develop skills for work in international settings. Our employees must find it easy to develop and to discover new challenges within our operation. Consequently, we advertise available positions internally. We also take measures to ensure that employees do not, for example, lose out on pension savings if they choose to work in countries other than their home countries.

Tele2 creates individual employee development plans and offers many internal training and development opportunities. Professional development plans include monthly evaluations and annual performance appraisals that deal with objective fulfilment and further planning (new objectives, initiatives and development).
