Last year Tele2 became included in the leading sustainability index – FTSE4Good. The review in June this year showed that Tele2 keeps their high standards and therefore continues to be a part of the FTSE4Good Indes series.
The FTSE4Good Index Series is designed to measure the performance of companies demonstrating strong Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) practices. The model that is used when reviewing companies include 300 Indicators, 14 Themes and 3 Pillars. Companies receives points in everything from Labour standards and Human rights to anti-corruption and climate change. The criteria are based only on publicly available data. According to FTSE4 Good, this improves the credibility of data and enhances transparency across the market.
Each company in the research universe is given a FTSE ESG Rating ranging from 0 to 5, with 5 being the highest rating. Only companies with a FTSE ESG Rating of 3.5 and above can become added to the Index.
