Reporting starts in September, the latest, with requests for information being sent out to the various subject matter owners. This according to a process designed in 2012 and updated to G4 last year. During 2012 and 2013 we worked according to a soft & hard close system, where the soft close was designed to test the system ensuring high quality of data and disclosures.
What did we think of the G4 then? In reality it is not such a big difference, after all, compared to G3. The very important processes framing the report were there already in the last version, just them being more visual or outspoken now. Yet, I must strike a pose for the old Boundary protocol belonging to G2 and G3, I still think that was the best guideline to companies’ boundaries there is in the market. It was crisp, realistic and highly applicable. The current Boundary is more of a visionary approach than operational, which could be unrealistic in practice.
