As part of our tradition, Tele2 is looking for exceptionally motivated candidates to join the Global Executive Trainee Program, starting August 2013.

 

Tele2 is one of Europe’s leading telecom operators, offering mobile services, fixed broadband and telephony, data network services, cable TV and content services. We have 37,6 million customers in 11 countries, whereof 35 million in our mobile operations. In 2011, net sales amounted to SEK 41 billion and reported operating profit (EBITDA) amounted to SEK 10.9 billion. As an Executive Trainee you will work closely with a Leadership Team member, assisting in their daily work for twelve months. By this, you will have a challenging and stimulating work environment with the opportunity to create a strong foundation for a successful future career within Tele2 (or another Kinnevik company).

We are currently looking for trainees for the following Leadership Team members:

  • President & CEO
  • Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
  • Chief Commercial Officer (CCO)
  • Chief Technical and Information Officer (CTIO)
  • Chief Strategy Officer (CSO)
  • Group HR Director & Group Communication Director – shared position
  • Market Area Director Nordic
  • Market Area Director Central Europe & Eurasia
  • Market Area Director Western Europe – based in Amsterdam
  • Market Area Director Russia – based in Moscow

The Executive Trainees will be recruited and located in Stockholm, Amsterdam and Moscow, depending on which Leadership team member you will assist and have as mentor.

Required qualifications:

  • Degree in Business and/or Engineering
  • Professional experience, e.g. internships
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English (Swedish required for some positions and Russian or Dutch required for positions based in Moscow and Amsterdam)

Desired

  • Proven academic excellence
  • Leadership experience
  • International experience, i.e. exchange semesters
  • Knowledge of Russian language
  • Sports achievements
  • Entrepreneurial experience
  • Experience from relevant extracurricular activities such as student associations
