Phonera has signed a framework agreement through Com Hem with GothNet – Gothenburg City Network under which Phonera will offer companies affiliated with them the option to connect with Phonera’s broadband services, known as fiber access.
Through the newly established collaboration with GothNet, Phonera gains a strong presence and even better coverage of Gothenburg by providing fiber access to businesses and organizations.
“I consider Phonera’s decision to enter into collaboration with GothNet as a fiber access provider to be a positive move that will promote development. We look forward to our future collaboration and Phonera’s offering is well in line with GothNet’s focus and aspiration to grow in the corporate market within our network area,” says Rickard Bern, acting Marketing Manager at GothNet.
“With help from Com Hem we now have access to one of Sweden’s best city networks in a municipality that prioritizes enterprise. I am convinced we will have many new satisfied customers as we help Gothenburg’s companies with their communication solutions,” says Lars Bondebjer, Product and Marketing Manager at Phonera.
Gothenburg is a priority market for Phonera’s expansion and now there are even better opportunities to generate strong growth in the region through GothNet. Phonera will have an extremely attractive offering with high-quality fiber access for Gothenburg’s businesses. In addition to broadband services, Phonera also provides business telephone systems and services. In May 2014 Phonera signed a similar agreement with Malmö City Network.
