Following Tele2’s international consolidation and the merger with Com Hem, Tele2 has a dedicated focus on Sweden and the Baltics. The group governance model reflects this and emphasize Tele2’s relentless efforts to further increase speed, simplicity and accountability within a flat organizational structure.
Tele2 has a Group Leadership Team, complemented by a wider Business Leadership Team mainly focused on Sweden, and a team leading the Baltic markets (see below).
Tele2’s Business Leadership Team consists of commercial units and common functions and is the main decision forum, executing on the Tele2 strategy. They are responsible for the day to day operations and may change over time to represent key functions and critical projects in Tele2’s journey.
This team is definitely larger than your average leadership team. By widening the top management layer we secure commercial focus as well as increased simplicity and speed in execution by having short decision and information lines. The new setup is a flat organization to secure speed and simplicity with minimized number of management layers, clear functional purposes and removing overlaps.
