Stockholm – Tele2 AB, (“Tele2”), (Stockholmsbörsen: TEL2A and TEL2B), the leading alternative pan-European telecommunications company, today announces that following the successful acquisition of Tiscali in February 2005, Tele2 in Denmark is now able to offer both traditional fixed telephony and ADSL using its own network, at significantly lower prices than its competitors.

The Danes are the first Tele2 customers in Europe to have the opportunity to subscribe to an integrated ADSL and traditional fixed telephony product, which is entirely administrated by Tele2. This enables Tele2 to offer the telephony subscription at 42% below TDC. The service is currently available to 65% of Danish households. Lars-Johan Jarnheimer, CEO and President of Tele2 commented, “I am delighted that, as the leading alternative telecoms operator in Denmark, we can disconnect the incumbent from the traditional fixed telephony and compete with an entirely Tele2 administrated product and significantly lower prices.” CONTACTS Lars-Johan Jarnheimer, Telephone: + 46 8 562 640 00 President and CEO, Tele2 AB Håkan Zadler, Telephone: + 46 8 562 640 00 CFO, Tele2 AB Dwayne Taylor, Telephone: + 44 20 7321 5038 Lena Krauss, Telephone: + 46 8 562 000 45 Investor enquiries Visit us at our homepage: http://www.Tele2.com
