Isabelle Bergentoft

CCO trainee

This summer, Isabelle graduated with a master’s in industrial engineering and management from KTH, specializing in applied mathematics, and spent an exchange semester at Monash University in Melbourne. Alongside her studies, she interned at both BCG and BCG Inverto, worked as a part-time consultant within organizational development at IM TruePoint, joined a startup focusing on innovation and AI, and experienced the VC side at Antler where she co-led their incubator program.

Outside of work, Isabelle enjoys running and all kinds of exercise, as well as spending time in the Stockholm archipelago. She is also a true foodie who loves both cooking and exploring new restaurants.

Why Tele2?

I was attracted to Tele2 because of its strong brand, challenger mindset, and culture of constant evolution. Tele2 has a long tradition of challenging the status quo, and the ongoing return to our roots makes this a particularly exciting time to join. The Executive Trainee role combines responsibility, variety, and direct exposure to senior leadership, which is unique so early in a career. From earlier experiences, I know I thrive in fast-paced environments with diverse and challenging tasks, and I am confident that Tele2 is the right place for me to continue growing in such a setting.

What will you do as an CCO Trainee?

In this role, I work closely with the CCO and the leadership team; contributing to strategic projects, preparing material for leadership discussions, and supporting initiatives that drive the company’s growth. The role places me close to the decision-making process while also giving me the chance to learn from talented colleagues across the organization and see how strategy is turned into action.

What are you most looking forward to this year?

I’m especially looking forward to shadowing Nicholas and the team, gaining insight into how they approach strategic challenges, and learning from their experience throughout the year. I expected the role to offer early exposure, but I’ve been genuinely surprised by how fast and directly you are involved in high-level discussions. Getting to see strategy take shape in real time has been one of the most inspiring aspects so far.

Which of our core values do you like best, and why?

Take action. To me this means not waiting until everything is perfect but daring to move forward and make things happen. It’s about turning ideas into execution, which is where I believe real impact is created. On a personal level, I relate as I have not always been good at letting go even when something isn’t perfect, but I’ve learned the value of moving forward and improving along the way.
