Matilda Bäremo
B2B trainee
Matilda’s B2B trainee year has been all about growth and responsibility. During the year, she has been part of strategic discussions while exploring how automation can transform our ways of working.
Why did you choose Tele2?
“At Tele2, trainees are highly valued and given real responsibility from day one. I liked the opportunity to try different tasks before choosing a role. Many former trainees are still here today, working in exciting positions.”
Has the programme met your expectations?
“The programme has exceeded my expectations from the very start. It’s been exciting, fun, and I have really grown professionally – often stepping out of my comfort zone and into challenges that accelerated my learning.”
What has been the most challenging part – and how did you approach it?
“I have led projects in areas completely new to me. The key has been to jump in, learn fast, keep a can-do mindset, and be brave. Taking ownership and staying proactive has been essential.”
What’s next for you at Tele2?
“I will work as a Business Developer Manager and drive intelligent automation projects and improve our way of working, processes, and more. I will work closely with the organisation to identify areas of optimisation.”
Looking back, what has been most rewarding?
“Being part of a year when we have reviewed our strategy, culture, and priorities – and helping set new standards for how we work. It has been rewarding to see ideas turn into real changes. And I must give a shout-out to Stefan Trampus, EVP B2B – an incredible leader I have learned so much from.”
Some piece of advice for future trainees?
“Show genuine interest in Tele2 when you apply – it really makes a difference. Once here, be open to both high-profile projects and smaller tasks. Take ownership and step out of your comfort zone – that’s when you will learn the most.”
