CUSTOMER INTAKE FOR THE THIRD QUARTER 2004
New York and Stockholm - Tele2 AB, ("Tele2"), (Nasdaq Stock Market: TLTOA and TLTOB and Stockholmsbörsen: TEL2A and TEL2B), the leading alternative pan-European telecommunications company, today announced that, based on agreed marketing activities for the third quarter of 2004, the estimated intake for the quarter will range between 1 and 1.5 million net new subscribers. Overall, Tele2 will maintain a high level of activity in marketing, but has decided to reduce emphasis on dial-up Internet during this quarter.
