Changes in the number of shares and votes in Tele2
Stockholm - Tele2 AB, (Tele2), (NASDAQ OMX Stockholm: TEL2 A and TEL2 B) today announced that Tele2's total number of Class B shares has increased to 419,966,669 from 419,409,669. The change refers to a new issue of 557,000 Class B shares in May after the exercise of options to subscribe for shares under an incentive program 2006.
Each Class A share has ten voting rights and each Class B and Class C share carries one voting right. The issue of new Class B shares has therefore increased the total number of voting rights to 629,883,369 (of which 209,916,700 related to Class A shares and 419,966,669 related to Class B shares) from earlier 629,326,369 (of which 209,916,700 related to Class A shares and 419,409,669 Class B shares) when excluding the 5,798,000 Class C shares held by Tele2.
