TELE2 RECEIVES 3G LICENSE IN ESTONIA

New York and Stockholm - Tele2 AB, ("Tele2"), (Nasdaq Stock Market: TLTOA and TLTOB and Stockholmsbörsen: TEL2A and TEL2B), the leading alternative pan-European telecommunications company, today announced that Tele2 has received a 3G license in Estonia.
Tele2 Eesti received a 3G license issued by the Estonian Communications Board on August 5, 2003 which is valid until August 5, 2013.
 
Lars-Johan Jarnheimer, CEO of Tele2 said; "We are delighted to have received a 3G license in Estonia as it will enable us to build on our successful GSM operation in that country".
