How important is it for you to be challenged at work and in other parts of your life?
Challenges push us to evolve and make us think in new ways. I think that it is necessary in order to achieve our goals. I believe that mankind has come this far because we rise to face challenges. A life without challenges is a life without wisdom.
Describe the culture at Tele2?
Forward thinking, adaptable and helpful. We are well aware that our business changes on a daily basis, so we love to be an innovator within our industry. We love to win and we love to celebrate our victories!
What advice would you give a person looking to begin a career at Tele2?
You have to love change! Ours is a fast evolving industry and we need to be able to adapt to change quickly. Try to have an open mind but also dare to speak your mind when you have to. Sometimes you will need to step out of your comfort zone, but you can be confident that you will do it together with people who support you every step of the way.
What surprised you most when you started at Tele2?
The commitment from all employees! Tele2's strength lies in the people who work here and everyone's commitment to push themselves to achieve success together. There is a feeling of familiarity that I haven't experienced in other workplaces.
What makes Tele2 stand out from other employers?
The opportunity to take a lot of responsibility for your work. Tele2 trusts its employees to make their own decisions so there is a high level of freedom. This gives us the opportunity to think for ourselves and express our opinions.
When is your work most rewarding?
When you've had to step out of your comfort zone to help solve a problem. Sometimes we find ourselves in tricky situations and it is important to be able to step out of our specific roles and just come together as employees of Tele2 to solve the problem together.
