Meet Anna

Anna Fransson, CEO Trainee

What does it mean being a CEO trainee?
Being the CEO trainee at Tele2 means that I get to be a part of our CEO's daily work with various projects, leadership meetings and Board meetings. I support him and his leadership team in ongoing projects and new initiatives. It gives me a wide perspective of the whole organization and how each unit form the completeness.

Describe a typical day at work!
Each day differ from the other, that is one of the reasons to why this role is so exciting.  One part of my work is to collect, deliver and present material to leadership meetings whilst another is yet to explore. On a weekly basis I interact with the entire leadership team and get insights on their prioritized projects. I also get to lead a forum that encourage cross-functional collaboration.

What made Tele2 stand out from other employers?
For me it was important to find an employer that wants me to grow and develop within the organization.  I wanted to invest my time and energy in a company that wants to invest in me. Tele2 has great examples of young people who are pursuing impressive careers here and that made me even more motivated to work at Tele2. I specifically enjoy the innovative approach and the inspiring people at the company.

What part do you enjoy the most in your role as trainee?
I enjoy the variation of tasks in my role, that I get to be a part of every unit at this big listed company. The role is designed to challenge both us trainees and our executives. I am here to learn and develop and honestly, I can't imagine a better way to that then here.

How do you spend your free time?
Doing activities with friends and family. Preferably, I travel and discover new beautiful places but since the pandemic started I have paused my travels. I also enjoy playing padel and golf or arranging dinners and playing board games.

Which is your favorite company value?
That must be Reliable. For me, being reliable means that you support your colleagues, always do your best and deliver. I believe that if you combine our other values you get reliability. To be the leading telco company it’s important to enhance the customer experience by listening to customers and the market trends. They need to be able to rely on us.
