Caroline Montenius

CEO trainee

Caroline has recently moved home to Stockholm after Master's studies in Business Administration and Change Management in Amsterdam. She has a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration at Uppsala University and devoted a lot of time to student activities throughout her studies, including being a board member of the student union “Uppsalaekonomerna”.

​​​​​​​What will you do as a trainee at Tele2?

As a CEO trainee, I will get to collaborate with, and learn about, almost all parts of the organization. I will mainly work with the CEO and the Group Leadership Team, but during the course of the year I will also get to work on projects in other parts of Tele2.

Which of our values ​​reliable, insight driven and collaborative do you like best, and why?

Collaborative. It is the value I have experienced permeated the organization the most during my so far short time here. There's no competitiveness - only colleagues who support each other and share their knowledge!

If I meet you by the coffee machine, what would be subject to chit-chat about?

Everything, I'm a pretty talkative person! But especially the last book you've read or skiing - I'm happy to exchange book tips and I worked as a ski instructor for many years both in Sweden and in the Alps.

What are you most looking forward to during the year?

​​​​​​​I look forward to continuing to absorbe the enormous amount knowledge that exists within all parts of the organization. It's fantastic to every day feel "Wow, how exciting, I want to learn more about that!". Above all, it's incredible that all colleagues are so willing to share their expertise.

​​​​​​​What are your future plans?

In the future, I want to have a role that has a big positive impact on our planet. Tele2's impressive work with sustainability was a strong reason why I applied for the role of CEO trainee. It feels great to work for a company that not only strives to be a leader in its industry, but also a leader in sustainability!
