Ella Nilsson

Trainee CCO

Ella studied for five years in the United States, where she earned a bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management, and later an MBA at a university in South Carolina. Alongside her studies, she played competitive golf for four years and worked as an assistant golf coach for one year. 

After graduating, she moved back to Sweden and started her career as an executive trainee at Allente Group - and now she is continuing that journey as an executive trainee at Tele2.

In her free time, Ella usually staying active - whether that's walking, running, at the gym, or out on the golf course, which remains her favorite. Beyond that, she loves to travel and cherish time spent with friends and family.

What attracted you to Tele2?

I was drawn to Tele2 because of its hardworking, fast-paced culture - something that resonates deeply with my background in competitive sports, where discipline and drive are everything. I was also attracted by the challenger mindset here: the constant push to become better and never settle. The Executive Trainee role offers a rare combination of responsibility, variety, and direct exposure to senior leadership so early in a career. 

What will you be doing as a B2C trainee?

In my role, I work closely with our CCO and the leadership team, contributing to strategic projects, preparing material for leadership discussions, and supporting initiatives that help drive growth across the business. It's given me a front-row seat to how decisions are made, while also letting me learn from talented colleagues across the organization.

What are you most looking forward to during the year?

What I'm most looking forward to is learning from experienced leaders and experts across Tele2, and being part of projects that create real, tangible change. On top of that, getting to shadow an EVP and soak up everything I can learn from them - starting a career working this closely with an EVP is a rare opportunity.

Which of Tele2’s core values resonates with you the most, and why?

Be Brave is the value that speaks to me the most. To me, taking real action requires courage - and I've learned that the moments where I've grown the most are the ones where I dared to challenge myself.
