Minna Mathisson

B2C trainee

Minna has studied Industrial Engineering and Management, specializing in Machine Learning, at the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH) in Stockholm. During her studies, she did an exchange semester in Chicago and she also worked at NKT with data analysis, planning and efficiency work.

What will you do as a trainee at Tele2?

I will work closely with and support our CCO Hendrik De Groot and the B2C management team. In the role as B2C trainee, I will gain an understanding of B2C's organization and eventually become involved in several interesting projects.

Which of our values ​​reliable, insight driven, and collaborative do you like best, and why

All three values ​​work together and create a unity. But if I must choose one of them, it would be collaborative. Collaborative is the cornerstone of everything we do and through collaboration we take advantage of each others’ skills and create the best results together.

If I meet you by the coffee machine, what would be subject to chit-chat about?

Anything! Preferably about your favorite travel destinations around the world. I love to travel and so far this year, I have managed to visit Thailand, the US, Portugal and Croatia. I think it's always interesting to hear about other people's travels! I also enjoy snowboarding and am trying to learn how to surf, so I’m keen to discuss that as well.

What are you most looking forward to during the year?

The trainee program provides an incredible opportunity to learn from all the colleagues you meet, gain insights in the business and understand how different parts of the organization work together to achieve long-term sustainable results. I look forward to learn as much as possible and develop both professionally and personally.

What are your future plans?

I find business development interesting and ​​​​​​​ being able to take advantage of AI and machine learning as a strategic asset. The trainee program is designed to try a number of different projects and then choose the direction you want to take. Who knows, maybe it will be in an area that you didn't think about from the beginning?
