Olle Lövborg

Trainee CFO

Olle recently graduated from Linköping University with a degree in Industrial Engineering and Management, specialising in finance. During his studies, he wrote his master’s thesis for Almi Invest and ran his own consulting company within the drone industry. He also gained experience through an internship in business analytics at Sectra.

Outside of work, Olle enjoys spending time with friends and family, running, training and cooking. Having grown up in Motala, he especially enjoys being by the lake or out on a boat whenever he gets the chance.

What attracted you to Tele2?

The responsibility that comes with the role, and the perspective it gives. You get to look at a company of this size from a strategic angle, which is not really where you usually start, and that was the kind of work I wanted to do. The other thing was the culture. Tele2 is large, but from the beginning it was clear that you are still expected to question how things are done and strive to always improve.

What will you be doing as an CFO trainee?

I work closely with our CFO Peter Landgren and support him in the day-to-day running of the Finance organization. That covers internal and external reporting, strategic projects, and work on automating parts of how we do things. 

What are you most looking forward to during the year?

Seeing Tele2 from as many angles as possible. I want to work with different parts of Finance, but also outside of it, and understand how the pieces fit together. Part of that is getting to follow a decision the whole way. 

Which of Tele2’s core values resonates with you the most, and why?

Take action. I like getting things done, and that is part of what drew me here. It is easy to spend a long time analyzing something, especially in finance, and sometimes that is exactly what is needed. But often you learn more by deciding with the information you have, getting started, and adjusting along the way.
