Tele2 and Reach for Change: an active partnership
This spring saw the expansion of Reach for Change in Kazakhstan
At the end of May, Reach for Change and Tele2 Kazakhstan announced a nationwide, annual call for social entrepreneurs to submit innovative ideas to change lives for children. A “casual hipster style” launch took place in Almaty where popular bloggers and journalists were invited, leading to more than 20 post-event publications in the major media. In Astana, a more formal launch, attended by government informational agencies, major newspapers and journals was followed by a press conference. The call for submissions will be open until October. We are excited to see the wonderful proposals coming from the most innovative minds!
Strategic Advising Sessions
Members of the Tele2 Leadership Team, together with other leaders from the Kinnevik Group, recently attended Reach for Change’s Strategic Advising Sessions. Entrepreneurs presented specific challenges faced by their organizations (new market expansion, hiring new employees, pitching mission-aligned partners, etc.) for feedback and advice. This was a particularly inspiring afternoon marked by shared enthusiasm and a constructive exchange of ideas.
