Tele2’s Board of Directors announces the departure of Jean Marc Harion and the appointment of Nicholas Högberg as new President and CEO as of 30 June 2026

Jean Marc Harion plans to retain his position as a Board member of Tele2, subject to the positive vote of the shareholders at the Annual General Meeting scheduled on 18 May 2026.

With over 25 years of senior leadership in the telecommunications, media and technology industries, Nicholas Högberg offers deep operational knowledge and a remarkable record of delivering results across diverse business environments. He also spent nine years at the helm of a major mobile operator, driving sustained market share expansion, and also guided a technology scale-up through one of Europe’s most notable organic growth trajectories.

Tele2’s current CEO Jean Marc Harion will remain in the role until Nicholas Högberg formally takes office on 1 July 2026 and will continue to act as an advisor to Tele2 during this transition period up until 31 December 2026 to ensure a smooth handover.
