How did you learn about the Tele2 IT Graduate Program?

I learned about the Tele2 IT Graduate Program on LinkedIn and Tele2 website.

What made you decide to apply for the Program?

After I read about the program and what the previous participants had experienced, I thought the program was a perfect and natural start for a career within IT. I also wanted to work at a company who has strong values, are people and culture oriented and work with new trends and technology.  

What made Tele2 stand out from other employers?

I would definitely say the company culture, the people and the environment within Tele2.

What did you do before you entered the Program?

Before the Program I studied system science/informatics, a three-year bachelor’s program and I started the Program after my degree.

What surprised you the most when you started?

I was really surprised how much Tele2 embrace their values and culture, which I think is one of the most important things as a company in order to be successful.

Describe a typical day at work?

A typical workday for me starts with checking my mailbox along with a short recap on what I did yesterday and what I will do today. At 9:15 me and my team has daily standup to sync and recap where we are and what we will do. During the day if I don’t sit with the team and develops, I am most often on meetings regarding my team projects or the Program. Every team has their own lunch times but, in my team, we take lunch around 11am.

What are your hobbies or passions outside of work?

In my spare time I like to go the gym or take a jog outside. Another passion of mine is world travelling, I love to explore different cultures and meet people from all around the world.

Best experience at Tele2 so far:

All the people I have met and work with every day and that I am able to learn so much. During the program so far, I’ve been able to grow both as a developer, a team member and as an individual.

Why do you recommend applying for the program?

I recommend this program for everyone who wants a perfect transition from school to work and start a career within IT at a company who value their people and culture. The program also give you the opportunity to be innovative, have freedom under responsibility and learn about all aspects within IT development.
