Tele2 Austria becomes a mobile provider

Stockholm - Tele2 AB (Tele2), (NASDAQ OMX Stockholm: TEL2 A and TEL2 B) today announced that Tele2 Austria will extend its portfolio and enter into mobile telephony as a mobile virtual network operator, MVNO. Tele2 will provide nationwide network coverage for the business-to-business segment on the network of its partner, T-Mobile.

By adding the mobile division to Tele2 Austria’s current portfolio of broadband, fixed-line telephony and TV, Tele2 will become one of the most diversified providers in the Austrian Telecommunication market.
